CapGainsValet includes approximately 11,000 mutual funds, with emphasis on widely held strategies. Smaller or niche funds may not be included. Coverage expands each week as managers report new estimates.

Speed of Updates

Data is refreshed every Monday morning to capture newly reported estimates and revisions from fund managers.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is the data calculated?

If managers provide a range, the higher end is displayed. If only a dollar amount is reported, it is converted to a percentage using the prior day’s NAV.
