How to Add Performance Proxies to a Portfolio
You can use a performance proxy if a holding in a portfolio has limited history. Adding a proxy with a longer history will backfill the proxy's performance for dates where the holding does not have performance. This allows you to expand the portfolio history without removing holdings from the portfolio. You can see a quick video on the process along with instructions below:
How to Add a Performance Proxy:
1. Open the portfolio editor by clicking on the pencil icon.

2. Toggle on 'Advanced Portfolio Settings'.

3. Select the checkbox next to 'Performance Proxy'.

4. Click 'Edit Items' on the right side.

5. Click the plus icon next to the holdings for which you'd like to add the proxy.

6. Search and add the proxy security.

7. Select 'Update' on the right side after naming all of the required proxies.

8. Save the portfolio.
