How to Create Reports for Internal Review

The Report Builder on YCharts gives you the ability to view and compare up to six securities at once, making it easy to deliver clear, easy-to-read reports to colleagues in a timely manner. The Multi-Companies Report is a great way to showcase investment opportunities side-by-side and support better internal discussions.

To create a report, please follow the below steps: 

1. Open the Report Builder under Tools. 
2. Select  ‘Create New’ and then the “Multi-Companies Report” template to compare multiple securities.
3. Enter up to five tickers (plus a benchmark) for the securities you want to review.
4. Customize the report by adding:
   1. Key performance metrics
   2. Valuation and fundamentals
   3. Charts, tables, and full page images
5. Save the report by selecting ‘Save’ and then “Save As” to reuse or ongoing analysis. 
6. Select ‘Generate’ to export to PDF.
