How to Install the Excel Add-In
Getting the YCharts Add-In set up in Excel just takes a few simple steps.
Requirements
- Windows XP or newer
- Our Add-In is not compatible with Mac computers
- Microsoft Office 2007 or newer
- Our Add-In is not compatible with Google Sheets or the online version of Microsoft Office
Installation Steps
- Head to the Excel page on YCharts
- Save and close out of any open Excel spreadsheets
- Choose either the 32 bit or 64 bit Add-In version.
- Don't know which version of Excel you're running? Click here for steps on how to find out.
- Select Download Excel Add-In. This should then run the installation wizard.
- Once the installation is complete, open Excel. You should see a YCharts tab added to your ribbon.
- If the YCharts tab is not there, try opening the Add-In manually.
- Copy the Access Key found on the Excel page and enter it into the Access Key section on the YCharts tab of Excel and then click 'Login'
- You should now be successfully logged in and ready to use the Add-In!
