How Can I Upload a Dynamic Portfolio Using Shares or Dollars?

To upload a Dynamic Portfolio using shares or dollars follow the below steps:

1. The YCharts Excel Add-in is required and you can download here, if needed. 

2. To download the template go to Tools → Excel → Templates → Portfolio Holdings.

• Download the Dynamic Model Portfolio Upload Tool.

3. Prepare your data and for each portfolio date, include:

• Date (YYYY-MM-DD format).
• Symbol (ticker).
• Value (shares, dollar amount, or weight).

4. Create a Blank Dynamic Portfolio

• Go to Tools → Portfolios → + Create New → Blank Dynamic Portfolio.
• Upload Your File
  • In the Dynamic Portfolio editor, click Upload Data and attach your completed Excel template.
• Select Save to confirm your upload.
  • Review to ensure your holdings and historical allocations appear correctly.
  • If needed, download, update, and re-upload your file
