Activation
To set up the integration in your YCharts account, first reach out to the Raymond James IT Administration group to request access. Once Raymond James IT has approved your request, continue with the activation steps below.
Head to the Integrations page in YCharts and toggle on the Raymond James Integration.
Select Activate, and the integration should be added to your account.
Once activated, you are ready to start importing holdings. You can hover over Tools at the top of the page and then select Portfolios. Once you have done that, you can click on Import Holdings in the top right of the menu and choose Raymond James from the menu.
Deactivation
This integration is manually handled by YCharts and Raymond James. To disconnect from the integration, please contact your Account Manager or email support@ycharts.com.
Troubleshooting
Below are the most common errors you may encounter while using the integration. If you need additional support, contact the YCharts Support team.
Error: There are no Raymond James advisors associated to your user. Please contact support.
- If you're seeing this error message and you have not yet reached out to the Raymond James IT Administration group email, please reach out and request your integration to be activated.
- If you're seeing this error message and you have already received confirmation from the Raymond James IT Administration group email, please reach out to your account manager or support.
Error: The selected item(s) do not have any holdings.
This error appears when you attempt to import entities that do not have holdings.
To resolve this issue:
- Try importing another type of entity.

If you believe the holdings have not properly imported, reach out to YCharts support.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I import cost basis data from Raymond James?- No, cost basis information cannot be brought into YCharts via the Raymond James integration.
- No, by default any changes made in Raymond James will not transfer over to YCharts. You can change this setting your integration to automatically update here. You can choose from having holdings update daily, weekly, or monthly.
