Why Is My Custom Security Not Showing Updated Performance Data?

Tools like Fundamental Charts or Portfolios with Custom Securities as holdings will only be able to display performance through the most recent uploaded date. For example, if your custom security has daily returns uploaded through 12/31/2020, the Fundamental Chart tool will only be able to display performance up to this date.

You can add a Continuation to your custom security, which will allow for up to date performance data. By selecting the Advanced Settings in the editor, you can choose between either a Fixed or Static continuation. 

Fixed: The custom security will update each day with a specified return. Enter the annualized return value, and the Custom Security will update each day with the appropriate return.

Static: The custom security will update each day past the last uploaded performance date, but would not increase or decrease the security level. It is simply an extension of the last uploaded value into the future.
