Why Is the Save Button Grayed Out when Creating a Portfolio?
There are a few reasons why the save button may not be active when creating a model portfolio. You can troubleshoot that by looking into the following:
- Ensure you have selected 'Update' in the portfolio holdings module on the right side to lock in your holdings
- Ensure you have given the portfolio a title at the top of the page and have clicked outside of the title box once you've entered it
- Check to see if you selected 'Custom Date' in the Start of Series section at the top near the middle. If you did, enter a custom date
- Check to see if you selected 'Custom Date' in the As Of date section at the top right. If you did, enter a custom date
