Why Is the Save Button Grayed Out when Creating a Portfolio?

There are a few reasons why the save button may not be active when creating a model portfolio. You can troubleshoot that by looking into the following:
  1. Ensure you have selected 'Update' in the portfolio holdings module on the right side to lock in your holdings
  2. Ensure you have given the portfolio a title at the top of the page and have clicked outside of the title box once you've entered it
  3. Check to see if you selected 'Custom Date' in the Start of Series section at the top near the middle. If you did, enter a custom date
  4. Check to see if you selected 'Custom Date' in the As Of date section at the top right. If you did, enter a custom date
