What is Quick Extract?

Quick Extract assists with statement intake by extracting text from PDFs and images to quickly build Model Portfolios.

Simply upload an electronic version of a statement or holdings and generate one of your reports within a minute.

Is there a maximum PDF page limit or file size?

The file must be 100 pages or fewer and 32 megabytes or smaller. You may only upload one file at a time.

Is there a limit on the number of uploads?

The limit is set to 50 uploads per month.

How long does it take to extract data from a PDF?

It depends on the size of the file and internet speed, but it could be as few as 5 seconds.

How do I know if the extraction worked properly or not?

The AI extraction process is in its infancy and may be subject to error. Please review the symbol and look at the total of the portfolio before selecting update. If you spot an error, please update the symbol or amount. We would appreciate your feedback throughout the process and you may share that by clicking here.

What information is picked up from the new process?

The new data import process extracts all portfolio holdings listed in the file, including details such as the symbol, dollar amount or weight, and cost basis if available. Additionally, the statement's as-of-date is also extracted from the file.

What information is stored from the extraction process?

YCharts does not store uploaded files. OpenAI processes uploaded files and may retain them for up to 30 days, but the files will not be used to train any of its models.
