What Are Intersect, Add, and Exclude?

Our Screeners offer three choices for adding filters: Intersect, Add, and Exclude.

Intersect: This option refines your selection, displaying only those securities that meet both the current and prior 'Intersect' criteria. It functions similarly to an 'And' filter.

Add: This option reinstates a group of securities, bypassing all preceding filters. It operates similarly to an 'Or' filter.

Exclude: Eliminates all securities from the screener that belong to a designated group.
