How to Change the Benchmark of a Fund

YCharts allows you to toggle between two different benchmarks for funds - Broad Asset Class and the YCharts Category benchmark. You can toggle between the two options using the dropdown at the top right of the fund's page. 

If you want to use a custom benchmark (for example, a specific index or another security instead of the category/broad asset class), you will need to create a model portfolio and assign the benchmark to that portfolio:

1. Navigate to Tools > Portfolios.
2. Create a new model portfolio and allocate 100% to your fund.
3. In the "Benchmark" section, select your desired benchmark.
