- Open Risk Profiles from the Tools menu --> Manage.
- Select Create New to build a risk profile, then add a name and optional description.
- Define the risk level using qualitative labels or quantitative ranges.
- Assign a benchmark and set target allocations with low and high ranges.
- Add supporting risk and return metrics and associate relevant models or strategies.
- Save the risk profile and apply it within client reports.
- Generate reports with the Risk Profile embedded, including allocation details and visual comparisons.

Researching Funds with Screeners
This video shows advisors and planners how to use the Fund Screener to quickly identify ETFs by applying peer groups, performance metrics, and expense ratios, and how to save and reuse screens for efficient research
Step by Step Instructions
- Access the Fund Screener from the Tools --> Research menu.
- Use Modify to refine results using qualitative criteria such as peer group, share class, fund family, and more.
- Select Add Filter to narrow results with quantitative metrics, including peer group rankings, performance, risk, and allocation data.
- Use Metric Columns to add supplemental data points to your results without further reducing the fund universe.
- Apply a scoring framework by selecting Scoring Models > Open Saved Model to systematically evaluate and compare funds across defined metrics.
- Save commonly used metrics by selecting Metric Sets to streamline future screens and analysis.
- Eliminate duplicate share classes by selecting Remove Duplicates in the upper-right corner.
- Save and share your screener by selecting Save As, then using Share to assign access and edit permissions to your team.

- Access Comp Tables from Tools --> Research.
- Use Lists to pull in data sets such as indices, watchlists, saved fund screens, or portfolios.
- Apply saved Metric Sets and Scoring Models to standardize and streamline your analysis.
- Enhance insights by adding summary statistics along with additional metric and info columns.
- Save your work by selecting New Comp Table (unsaved) in the upper-left corner, then choosing Save As.
- Share the Comp Table with your team by selecting Share, assigning the appropriate group, and setting edit permissions.
- Export the table to the Excel Add-in, CSV, or PDF using the export options.
